The Pre-Training Phase of our apprenticeship program involves completing OS2U coursework to meet program requirements. This phase provides targeted learning in medical coding essentials, establishing a solid foundation for success in the program.

Advancing Through Proficiency
The Selection Phase of our apprenticeship program involves students demonstrating their coding proficiency by reaching specific benchmarks of accuracy and speed. Successful completion of the Selection Phase paves the way for the next steps of the apprenticeship, solidifying students' readiness to excel in real-world coding environmenmts.
To successfully pass the selection process, students will work closely with mentors to achieve a quality standard of 90% or higher accuracy.

On the Job Training (OJT)
The Selection Phase of our apprenticeship program involves The On the Job Training (OJT) phase of our apprenticeship program provides students with invaluable hands-on-experience by working on live projects. During the phase, apprentices and not only compensated for their work but also receive guidance and support from OS2 managers and auditors. This real-world training environment allows students to apply their coding skills, gain practical insights, ans further refine their abilities under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

Customized Training
Phase 2 of our apprenticeship program is dedicated to Customized Training, aimed at enhancing students' marketability for medical coding positions. Through tailored instruction and personalized guidance, apprentices receive targeted training to further develop their coding skills ad expand their knowledge in specific areas of interest. This phase focuses on refining their proficiency, boosting their competitiveness and the job market, and ensuring they are well-prepared to excel in their future medical coding careers.

On the Job Training (OJT)
In phase 3, we return to an On the Job Training (OJT) phase in our apprenticeship program, building upon the hands-on experience with a more advanced focus. Apprentices are fully immersed in live projects, receiving compensation for their work while benefiting from the guidance and support of OS2 managers and auditors. This continued real-world training allows studentrs to further refine their coding skills, tackle complex scenarios, and solidify their experience.

Placement Opportunities (optional)
Phase 4 of the apprenticeship proram offers two optional tracks. In track 1, students who meet or exceed standards have the opportunity to receive a position from OS2H. Track 2 is designed for students who do not intend to become OS2H employees but still wan to enhance their career prospects in the medical coding field. This track focuses on career development add-ons, including resume building, interview preparation, networking, and more, to prepare students for success in other medical coding organizations.
