After long experience as an RN in diverse clinical settings, I found the idea of medical coding and risk adjustment so appealing. A perfect fit, indeed. I no longer want to be in the trenches clinically – but I’m still fascinated by medicine and healthcare and want to apply my knowledge and experience. Remote work deeply ensconced with charts and histories is just right – especially for me as a traveller and adventurer.
I came upon it listening to various coding youtube channels and podcasts, where it was mentioned positively.
Catching up on reading, old series and movies I’ve missed with an emphasis on science fiction and yes, Star Trek. Documentaries and so many astronomy and science videos as well. If I can look up at a clear night sky and gaze at the stars, especially with a telescope or camera setup, I’m perfectly happy. Also tinkering with computers, learning new things like computer programming, and hopefully one day soon climbing back into the cockpit of a sailplane and soaring.
Too many interests!
Right now, I’m in a really hard spot in eastern Europe. But I love Pennsylvania!
Vocal and voiceover aspirations….
Carpe Diem! Now, more than ever.
