Overview

If you would be interested in our Director, Melissa Freeman to speak at one of your chapter meetings (onsite or virtual-depending on distance) to discuss our exciting programs and partnership with the local workforce solutions to provide this unique opportunity to any of your members who are seeking to gain experience or learn more about becoming a risk adjustment coder.

OS2U is a licensed career school with the Texas Workforce Commission and an approved education provider with AAPC. We are also a Department of Labor (DOL) apprenticeship training site. We offer a range of coding courses, bootcamps and practicums in risk adjustment and outpatient coding.

OS2 Healthcare Solutions is a boutique medical coding firm located in Killeen, TX or “The Great Place” as some folks like to call it. We use OS2U’s students as our workforce pipeline and a mechanism to provide novice coders the valuable coding skills and experience needed to launch their career.

The great thing about being a DOL apprentice provider, your underemployed or unemployed members may qualify for grants to cover the cost of the training portion to help them become eligible. If you have 15 or more coders interested in our CRC bootcamps, we will host the last day of our bootcamp onsite and proctor the exam the next day. We currently have a 100% pass rate.

So, you are not caught by surprise, below are the topics I can discuss during the meeting:

  • The history, mission, vision and goals of OS2 Healthcare Solutions and OS2U Training and Development Center
  • Discuss the challenges of gaining coding experience in this new generation of coding
  • What is Workforce Innovative Opportunity Act (WIOA)
  • Course outline and objectives
  • Paid apprenticeship or remote externship opportunities
  • Student cost and enrollment periods
