Apprenticeship III

OS2U’s Risk Adjustment Apprenticeship III is a comprehensive program designed for non-credentialed coders with no practical experience. This program consists of coding and auditing fundamentals in risk adjustment, physician and hospital outpatient coding. Upon successful completion of this program students will earn certifications in value-based disciplines (CRC, CPC, COC, CPMA) along with a paid apprenticeship.

Our program includes risk adjustment practicums with a simulated coding environment in HCC coding and auditing, exam prep courses, and permanent placement assistance. The Risk Adjustment Apprenticeship is a collaborative effort with our career school, OS2U Training & Development Center and coding firm, OS2 Healthcare Solutions. It is the only medical coding training program of its kind that includes prepare, pays and place certified medical coders.

Prices varies depending on the course – we suggest that new coders start with the CRC course as a “foot in the door” certification and is one of the shortest courses between beginning and certification eligibility.
Will I Be Able To Get A Job Right After I Pass My Exam?
Jobs for new coders can be hard to come by, but it is possible. OS2U will make every effort to make resources available to the coder to be successful. Likewise, by having the practicum as part of their course, the student gains 2 courses of coding experience.
