OS2U’s Introduction to Outpatient course is an instructor led online program, also known as the Outpatient Mentee Program. This program provides students the opportunity to learn both hospital and physician coding. It was designed to prepare risk adjustment coders in the discipline of procedural coding in the physician and hospital setting in an attempt to earn the CPC and COC certifications. This is the second phase of OS2U’s Fundamental program designed to improve the marketability and employ-ability of its students by providing training which earns certification and experience employees are looking for. Coders must complete the fundamental program, Intro to Risk Adjustment in order to join the Intro to Outpatient program. Training duration is 27 weeks prior to paid apprenticeship with OS2 Healthcare Solutions. This unique program consists of:

• AAPC’s Physican Coding Course
• AAPC’s Hospital Outpatient Coding Course
• CPC Bootcamp
• COC Bootcamp
• Practicode license
• 250 chart Complete Code Capture Practicum
• 6 month paid apprenticeship with OS2 Healthcare Solutions

Upon completion of the program Outpatient Mentee students are offered a paid apprenticeship with OS2 Healthcare Solutions.
